Hawaii Efoil Experience has three permitted sites on Oahu.
1440 Sand Island Parkway, Honolulu HI 96819
This is our most common site to use due to the ocean being protected from the tradewinds, the central location between the Honolulu Airport and the Honolulu Harbor, and its unobstructed large space in the water. We conduct 90% of our lessons here. You will find us set-up south (left side as you look at the ocean) of the parking lot in front of the canoes. Keehi will be the location of your lesson unless you hear directly from the instructor of using another site instead.
Haleiwa (east side of Ali'i Beach)
Haleiwa, HI 96712
During the summer months, the the north shore of Oahu is much more calm than the winter surfing season. We conduct about 5% of our lessons in this space to take advantage of the gorgeous conditions. Plan on taking a longer drive to the north shore, about an hour if you are coming from Waikiki or Honolulu. You will find us set-up on the small beach just east (right side when looking at the ocean) of the harbor break wall. Use this link to open a Google map to this location:
Bellows Air Force Station
220 Tinker Road, Waimanalo HI 96795
This is a remote location that exposes us to the gorgeous Windward side of Oahu. We rarely use this location for first-time lessons due to the tradewinds that are very consistently blowing out of the ENE direction, directly into this beach location. We conduct about 5% of our lessons here. The drive to this location is a short 30 minutes from Waikiki or Honolulu, but we will need to escort you onto base if you don't have military base access. We will meet you as you leave the main road. Use this link to open a Google map to this meet-up location:
If you are not visiting Oahu, but you are still interested in taking an efoil lesson, try one of Lift Foils' other demo sites in Hawaii:

There are no demo sites available on Ni'ihau, Molokai, or Lana'i at this time.
