TAKE IT EASY
TAKE IT EASY
Here at Hawaii Efoil Experience, it may be simple for us to say "take it easy" because we live in paradise. But for many of our students, we remind them to "take it easy", especially when learning to efoil. Most of our students get up on the foil in their first lesson. They are so excited about their experience, that they often return for a second and even more lessons.
Our first recommendation for them is to "take it easy". We know that you are excited to fly again, to take flight on this amazing watercraft... but your safety is the most important concern. For every foiler who has been bit by the foil, let us say it one more time... TAKE IT EASY. We simply mean that you should take the first wave, the first five minutes, the first pop-up to re-acquaint yourself with the foil. Go slow, go through your steps to get onto your feet, and very slowly get up on the foil. Unless you foil everyday, taking these first moments slowly can mean the difference between having a good day, and having a quick ride to the ER. Foils are fun! But they are also dangerous. We love sharing the stoke, but we also want to go out again tomorrow. So take a tip from Hawaii... TAKE IT EASY
Aloha.
